Zak Williams
is founder and partner at Zenith Strategies, a political consulting firm specializing in direct mail and strategic communication. Based in the upper Great Lakes region, Zak works with candidates, progressive organizations, and caucus programs around the country on developing creative mail programs and comprehension communication strategies. Zak's work with clients has been recognized by his peers as award-winning, including Best State Legislative Mail, Best Use of Humor, and Best Mail in a Bare-Kunckled Street Fight Victory.
Zak believes in a client-centered approach, recognizing his clients’ passions and interests that lead them to public service are their strengths. These strengths are the stories that are woven into mail programs that help his clients win. Zak believes in a hands-on approach, recognizing that a consultant should roll up his sleeves, spend time on the ground, and be a part of the changing dynamics in a campaign.
A native Texan, Zak now lives on the shores of Lake Superior in Duluth, MN, with his wife, great pyrenees, two cats, and a wild pollinator garden. Zak is an blues fan and host of Southern Crossroads on Two Harbors Community Radio, also serving on the Board of Directors. He is also a curler at the infamous Duluth Curling Club. As a Beloit College graduate, Zak also serves on the Alumni Board and mentors students. He is a donut connoisseur.
